Glorious Sunset 2015 Phillis Wheatley Book Award Finalist (Best Fiction)

I’m a writer of romantic fiction who believes all women deserve a little extraordinary in their lives every once in a while.  This site pays homage to all those independent women who work hard and usually get back a little less than they give.

This is for my homegirls.

May you feel as comfortable here as you do shooting the breeze with your real girlfriends; a pitcher of margaritas ready to pour and a Shonda Rhimes program on the telly.

I have books both for lovers of contemporary romantic comedy and for lovers of edgy inspirational romance (maybe with a pinch of fantasy).  If you’re wondering how those genres jive let me just say, much like my characters I, too, occasionally worry about the state of my soul.  You can stop laughing, thank you.  We’re all on a journey and while I have a long way to go, I am proud to say I am at least looking at the path, which is better than some of you heathens. I’m thinking it’s un-Christian-like to call people heathens, but like I said, I have a long way to go.

After all, if us girls don’t stick together and demand the finer things (and I’m not just talking monetary) in life sometimes, we will never get them everEver.  Do you hear me?  Ever.
